Does anyone else have a clingy cat?

Calico's in general seem to be more clingy than other cats. Ours is the same way as yours and even more so with my husband (she's daddy's little girl lol) When he comes home from work she is waiting at the door and he has to pick her up right away or she will "cuss him out". If he pets one of the other cats first she gets all moody and won't get near him until he has apologized properly. Coincidentally she was a street kitty we adopted from a rescue organization too. When we first met her she took to him right away but swatted at me! The first few months we had her she wouldn't have much to do with me and even tried to smother at night by laying on my face! When I told my husband what she was doing he didn't believe me at first but he was up late one night and caught her at it and gave her a stern talking to. After that she became more friendly and loving to me and now when he's at work she comes to me looking for the body heat he normally provides when he's home. She really is a sweet little girl and like yours, also does the paw reach and hangs in the bathroom when we shower. So yes, our calico gal is clingy too! Oh and she also "grooms" both of us. She likes my eyelids and grooms daddy's forehead lol
