Girlfriend sleeps with friend?

I am at college and so is my gf of nearly 8 months, although she is about 300 mi away at another school. When we see each other back home, we usually have some intimate time together and its a great loving feeling because you learn to appreciate it a lot more. anyways, she has another friend at school (a girl), completely straight, that she is very close to. my gf is really likable and has a great loving personality too. but anyways, her friend up there she spends a lot of time with, and she tells me they cuddle and fall asleep together often (not ually). i trust her but in anyone's opinion, should i be a little weary of this or is it just normal girl to girl closeness? i only feel a little strange because i feel that kind of closeness i should only have with my gf and no one else, and i feel a little uneasy. i also feel that people might label her as being bi.
