Mileage in used cars?

well fact of the matter is it comes down to the treatment of the vehicle prior to you as well as how you treat it. It is important to know that fluids were all changed regularly as they are supposed to. I've had a 1991 ford taurus that had over 270k miles roughly 434k km. Only thing that went bad was the water pump once (250k miles). I changed the oil every 5000km. It worked until i wrecked it on a mountain road. Its safe to say that most cars can probably handle up to 320k km with smaller issues. Honda and toyota are reliable and i trust them most out of imports. Alot of older cars go to teenagers because they are cheaper for a starter car. Usually your best bet to buy from an older person lol. Doesnt matter if the car is a honda, ford, bmw, chevy, toyota. All cars are built to last in their own ways if treated right. The less miles the better usually still. Less wear on items, less likely to be driven under extreme cirstances(ie: raced, etc) Just find a car you like that has a seller that seems trustworthy like i said, usually an older gent. Good luck
